AUTOOL SDT208 Smoke for Leak Detection

• Please note that the SDT series requires the connection of a 12V/24v battery.
• When you use this AUTOOL SDT208 Car Smoke Leak Detector for the first time, fill it with 10-15ml oil. Please be careful NOT to beyond this range.
• Before use, gently turn the knob to open the airflow regulator valve.
• The testing liquid: both liquid paraffin and baby oil are OK.
• Fresh oil can be filled with only when the smoke gets thin, and it can’t be filled over 15ml each time.
• Before filling fresh oil, please pour out the left oil in the detector & replace the detector oil regularly.
• During the process of leak detection, please keep away from smoke-sensitive parts.
• Do not run the detector for over 8 minutes continuously. It needs interval rest.
• The detector has an intelligent protector, if it exceeds the working limit, such as over 75 ℃, it will automatically turn off the power. In this case, please operate it later.
• The round part of this detector has temperature, please be careful to avoid burns.

If you can’t find a professional test oil, you can buy liquid paraffin or baby oil at your local store as test oil.

It’s suggested to add 10-20ml testing oil for the first trial. Please drain some testing oil out if you add too much accidentally. You can reuse the extra next time.

First, pressurize the air-conditioning pipeline, then spray smoke and observe if the airflow blows it. If there is, it means that the location is a leak point, you can repair later.
