⚠️Warm Tips
- Please note that the SDT series requires the connection of a 12V battery.
- When you use this AUTOOL SDT60 Car Smoke Leak Detector for the first time, fill it with 10-15ml oil. Please be careful NOT to beyond this range.
- Before use, gently turn the knob to open the airflow regulator valve.
- The testing liquid: both liquid paraffin and baby oil are OK.
- Fill new baby oil, recommended to fill about 10ml
- Before filling fresh oil, please pour out the left oil in the detector & replace the detector oil regularly.
- During the process of leak detection, please keep away from smoke-sensitive parts.
- Do not run the detector for over 8 minutes continuously. It needs interval rest.
- The detector has an intelligent protector, if it exceeds the working limit, such as over 75 ℃, it will automatically turn off the power. In this case, please operate it later.
- The round part of this detector has temperature, please be careful to avoid burns.
- Please note that the SDT60 needs to be connected to a 12V battery for use.

How To Use The AUTOOL SDT60 Automotive Smoke Machine?
- Step 1: Fill 10-15ml baby oil into the detector for the first time. Open the engine cover, and hang the detector in the cover.
- Step 2: Disconnect the pipe that needs to be connected to the detector.
- Step 3: Connect the detector with the DC12V battery, turn on the power switch, and the detector starts to work.
- Step 4: The pipe fills with smoke within 30 seconds, check for leaks. Check the leak points. Please use a headlamp if necessary.

This thing worked great on a 1990 2.6l Isuzu Trooper. Old cars have a ton of vacuum lines and over the years they break and start vacuum leaks. I used this and found some leaks I wouldn’t have thought to look.
It was easy to use and produced a ton of smoke quickly. Hook up the hose, hook up the clips to the battery, and turn it on.
