Does the Order in Which the Vehicle Is Adjusted Matter?
Start the proper wheel alignment at the rear. Establish a properly aligned geometric centerline, starting at the rear and moving forward, before making any other adjustments to the wheels. This process is known as thrust. Adjusting the thrust correctly is crucial because incorrect thrust can affect other measurements and lead to an improperly aligned vehicle.
