⚠️Warm Tips
- Please note that the SDT series requires the connection of a 12V battery.
- When you use this AUTOOL SDT103 Car Smoke Leak Detector for the first time, fill it with 10-15ml oil. Please be careful NOT to beyond this range.
- Before use, gently turn the knob to open the airflow regulator valve.
- This smoke machine does not built-in air pump. It needs to connect an extra air compressor.
- The testing liquid: both liquid paraffin and baby oil are OK.
- Fresh oil can be filled with only when the smoke gets thin, and it can’t be filled over 15ml each time.
- Before filling fresh oil, please pour out the left oil in the detector & replace the detector oil regularly.
- During the process of leak detection, please keep away from smoke-sensitive parts.
- Do not run the detector for over 8 minutes continuously. It needs interval rest.
- The detector has an intelligent protector, if it exceeds the working limit, such as over 75 ℃, it will automatically turn off the power. In this case, please operate it later.
- The round part of this detector has temperature, please be careful to avoid burns.

How To Use The AUTOOL SDT103 Automotive Smoke Machine?
- Step 1: Fill 10- 15 ml of baby oil into the detector for the first time. Open the engine cover, and hang the detector in the cover.
- Step 2: Disconnect the pipe that needs to be connected to the detector.
- Step 3: Connect the detector with the DC12V battery, turn on the power switch, and the detector starts to work.
- Step 4: The pipe fills with smoke within 30 seconds. Check for leaks. Check the leak points. Please use a headlamp if necessary.

Outstanding little unit. Puts out under half a psi so it won't rupture the fuel tank. This was my first experience with a smoke machine. Used to cure small evap leak code on Mercedes ML350. It had a little crack on the seam of the gas neck. In a month, I'd not have found it without smoke. Thanks so much, guys. Great job. It even shut itself off once (overheat protection) and reset after a little while.
