The AUTOOL Dry Ice Blaster Machine offers professional-grade performance to thoroughly remove carbon deposits from intake manifolds, intake and exhaust valves, combustion chambers, and even vehicle chassis. Unlike traditional chemical cleaners or abrasive blasting, it uses eco-friendly solid CO₂ pellets that sublimate into gas on impact, leaving no residue and protecting sensitive engine components.
Working Principle
The AUTOOL dry ice blaster uses compressed air to accelerate dry ice pellets and spray them at high speed onto contaminated surfaces such as the intake manifold, combustion chamber, or chassis. On contact, the dry ice pellets rapidly sublimate, producing a strong micro-explosion that breaks the bond between carbon deposits and the metal surface. This thermal shock effect removes stubborn carbon and grease while leaving the base material intact. Since the dry ice turns into gas instantly, no secondary waste is left behind. - This issue may be caused by a faulty switch button. Please disconnect the handle from the machine’s aviation plug. Then, use a screwdriver to insert into the aviation plug interface on the machine and short the corresponding pins to see if the machine can spray dry ice normally.
- If it works fine, we will send you a new switch button to resolve the issue.
- Our equipment features a bottom discharge outlet. When the ice delivery system operates and some dry ice does not fully spray out, the machine sends the excess dry ice through this outlet. This design prevents leftover dry ice from blocking the delivery system.
- If you notice this happening, first check the pressure gauge on the machine. If the input air pressure is below 6 bar, inspect the ice output adjustment knob. Setting the ice output to maximum under low air pressure can cause dry ice to flow faster than it sprays. We recommend reducing the ice output to prevent this issue.
- The principle of dry ice cleaning is that dry ice particles impact the surface of the object at high speed, causing the surface contaminants to freeze and become brittle. The impact and micro-explosions, combined with a powerful air blast, then separate the stains from the surface of the object.
- Our machine is capable of removing surface rust, meaning it can clean the rust on the outer layer of the object. If the rust has penetrated into the inner layer, physical grinding will be necessary for proper removal.
