- The automotive inspection camera lens isn’t resistant to high temperatures, so it’s recommended to use it below 75°C. Please check it under cold conditions to avoid damaging the lens.
- To protect the endoscope, please avoid using it when the car has just stopped or the engine is hot. When the engine has just stopped, its temperature usually reaches 80°C to 100°C or even higher. High temperatures can damage the camera
- It is recommended to use the endoscope after the engine has completely cooled down. Usually, it takes about 1 to 2 hours for the engine to cool down to a safe temperature. Do not place the hose in an environment above 75℃. High temperature can damage the camera, we consider this to be abnormal damage. If the camera is damaged by high temperature, free warranty will not be provided.
- Keep the articulating borescope clean, avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight, and protect it from direct contact with water, oil, and corrosive liquids.
- Nondestructive testing: The best endoscope camera allows for inspection without the need to disassemble automotive parts, preventing potential damage and additional costs associated with the disassembly process.
- Efficient diagnosis: It quickly provides detailed images of hard-to-reach areas such as the engine, transmission, and exhaust system, significantly improving the speed and accuracy of fault diagnosis.
- Visual image detection: The real-time image and video functions enable technicians to clearly identify internal issues, leading to more precise assessments.
- Save time and cost: By minimizing the need for disassembly, the endoscope reduces maintenance time and labor costs, while preventing unnecessary part replacements.

Very handy for small inspections. for home and car use, it's more than enough. I honestly didn't expect much at this price, but the clarity really surprised me. It helped me find a loose wire inside my car without taking everything apart. Saved me both time and money.
It’s super thin, so it fits into spots where my older 5.5 mm camera couldn’t. The image is clear enough for daily use, and the 4-way view helps a lot. I like the waterproof and overheat protection—it feels safer to use.
I have purchased other models of endoscopes before. In comparison, I found that the SVB408 has the most comprehensive functions and better meets my needs, so I bought it. It has its own screen and can be used without connecting to other devices. It can rotate 360 degrees, and the lens has been reduced to 3.9mm, which can enter narrower spaces.
