AUTOOL AST609 Brake Fluid Changer Operation Steps:
Warning: The specifications in the safety guidelines must be strictly complied.
Before using the device
- Step 1: The first step is to bleed the device. Please note that the oil reservoir on the vehicle must be filled to the maximum level.
- Step 2: Find a suitable adapter and connect it to the vehicle.
- Step 3: Press and hold the start button for 5–6 seconds to build up pressure. Once the pressure reaches above 0.6 bar, release the button.
- Step 4: Adjust the pressure, usually to 2 bar.
- Step 5: After turning on the machine and adjusting the pressure, loosen the screw on the wheel cylinder/brake caliper.
- Step 6: How to Determine if the Old Oil Has Been Drained? Check the layering and color of the fluid in the waste oil bottle. The darker layer is the old oil.
- Step 7: After completing the replacement, first tighten the screw on the wheel cylinder/brake caliper, then turn off the machine. This step is very important. Many customers have reported air entering the system because of the incorrect shutdown sequence.
During the replacement process, check whether the new oil bottle contains new oil. The device will not stop running immediately. If the bottle runs out of oil but the device continues to add fluid, air may enter the system. The low-oil shutdown function only protects against completely draining the oil from the vehicle.

AUTOOL AST609 Brake fluid changer Initial start-up procedure:
Warning: In any case, air-emptying must be performed at the first start-up.
- Place the brake fluid exchanger firmly on a flat surface.
- Unscrew the filling sealing cover of the top cover of the fresh fluid bottle.
- Pour new brake fluid into the new fluid bottle and insert the suction hose and pressure balancing hose into the new fluid bottle up to the bottom.
- Place the new fluid bottle in the bracket of the brake fluid exchanger to prevent it from tipping over.
- Connect the power supply to the brake fluid exchanger and turn on the switch.
- Select the Standard mode, press the “Start” button, and turn off the power after 3 seconds of working.
- Bleed the brakes by recovering fluid into a fresh bottle until all air bubbles are purged and the brake fluid stops overflowing.

Excellent machine, excellent quality, super fast delivery 😉 For those who use it in a garage workshop, I strongly recommend buying the adapter kit with many small differences to properly connect the adapter to avoid removal.
I truly recommend this brand over similar ones and for good purpose, this is probably my 6th brake bleeder and my second automatic. Pneumatics were king till these bad boys came out, at least this one anyways. My first auto was unbranded and cost around 400, was slower and the initial purge had not only dark fluid but black chunks of what seemed like rubber. The purge on this looked very clean and just about every component seems to be much higher quality than any of others I've seen. This isn't a paid promo or anything I just really believe this thing had some care put into it, the other one I got off amazon didnt have a nice fitment and the components seemed so much cheaper. 100% recommend
