Why does the alarm trigger and blow the fuse during use?
Before use, please ensure that the vehicle is in sleep mode and keep the car key at least 3 meters away from the vehicle. This will prevent the high-current alarm sound from being triggered. The fuse on the BT30 will only blow if there is a high current passing through the device.
Why is there no current display?
After connecting an external 12V battery, you need to disconnect the negative terminal of the original vehicle battery. This will allow the load current to be displayed.
What should I do if the fuse blows?
Simply replace the fuse with a 3A or 5A fuse, which can be easily found at a repair shop. Do not use a fuse larger than 5A, as an oversized fuse may damage the vehicle’s original fuse or the vehicle’s computer motherboard.
Why does the device beep and alarm as soon as it's connected to the vehicle’s battery, even though it's not yet connected to the vehicle’s OBD interface?
The beeping alarm occurs because the battery voltage is too low. It is recommended to replace the battery with one that has a voltage greater than 12V.
Why doesn't the newly received device power on and remain unresponsive after connecting it to the battery?
Check if the connected battery is the vehicle’s battery. If a jump starter or power bank charger is connected, the device will not power on. Please replace it with the vehicle’s battery for proper power supply.

This will fit into your OBD2 port and hook up to a 12 volt battery ... I use a motorcycle battery. This will help keep your computer and radio settings after you disconnect the 12 volt car battery to work on other parts of the car. Nice little tool for that.
