    A very good buy. Do it!

    This is a great light meter. But be aware that it integrates (probably uniformly, haven’t done the experiment) over a hemisphere (2 pi steradians), so if the sun is shining directly on it, there will be a high reading, dependent on the angle at which you hold it. Range is very good. During the eclipse I measured light levels from 50 klux down to 12 lux at mid totality. Very satisfied, except I couldn’t figure out how to connect this to my computer.
    On balance, a good deal. Glad i got it.
