Product Presentation
How do you choose a vacuum gauge? It’s simple!
As we all know, after our air conditioners have been running for some time, we need to replace the refrigerant in order to ensure the cooling effect of the air conditioners. When we are replacing or refilling the refrigerant in our air conditioners, is it often the case that we are unable to accurately visualize the operation of the equipment, resulting in unsatisfactory refrigerant refilling results? Then, is there a tool that can help us visualize the operation of the equipment during refrigerant refilling? Today we would like to introduce to you just such a tool – vacuum gauge.
What is a vacuum gauge?
- Working Principle:
A vacuum gauge is an instrument capable of measuring vacuum pressure and is commonly used in applications such as automotive repair and research laboratories.
It indicates the vacuum or pressure value mainly through the deformation of the elastic element or sensor, which converts the pressure into mechanical displacement or electrical signal change.
- What are the common types of vacuum pressure gauges?
- Mechanical Vacuum Pressure Gauges
This type of vacuum gauge is mainly composed of a sensor, a dial with a pointer, and when in use the pointer will change its position according to the change in vacuum pressure, thus allowing the user to quickly read the pressure of the device under test.
Compared with traditional mechanical vacuum gauges, these gauges are not only equipped with more sensitive sensing elements, but also with digital displays that can show more accurate readings. When measuring vacuum pressure, users do not even need to spend time to look carefully at the dial on which the pointer is placed on the grid, users only need to sweep a glance to see the accurate readings displayed on the screen, which greatly improves the user’s measurement efficiency.
- Moderate measuring range:
The choice of vacuum gauge is based on the range of pressure fluctuations in the equipment under test; if the range of the vacuum gauge is too small, it may fail to give a reading due to overpressurization or even damage the equipment; if the range of the vacuum gauge is too large, it may result in a lack of accuracy in the readings.
>Take AUTOOL’s LM100 as an example: the testing range of this product is from -101 kPa to 6 MPa (-0.1 bar to 60 bar), with a limit of 10 MPa (100 bar), which is sufficient to cover most of the common automotive air conditioners on the market without worrying about overpressure/inaccurate readings.
- High measurement accuracy:
Measurement results are accurate enough to ensure the accuracy of the adjustment operation. Such as AUTOOL’s LM100, the accuracy of this device can reach ± 0.2%, the resolution of up to 0.1 mbar, the user to use such a device to test, even in the process of filling only a small change can be displayed, which not only can greatly improve the measurement of efficiency, but also ensure that the process of filling smoothly.
- Material Durability:
The digital vacuum gauge hvac is commonly used in automotive repair shops, where the working environment will bring the equipment into frequent contact with oil and corrosive liquids. Therefore, it is best for the product to be resistant to corrosion, friction and oil. Vacuum gauges with IP65 ratings and durable materials such as engineering plastics and non-slip silicone are preferred.
Product Recommendation–AUTOOL LM100 refrigerant leak detector
- Data can be transferred: Built-in integrated microprocessor and communication interface can be connected to AUTOOL’s LM130 Refrigerant Meter for data transfer and data synchronization. If you are an individual user, this function will help you achieve high-speed synchronization when you want to transmit the measured data to the auto repair store!
- Holding pressure test mode: The equipment can accurately detect the sealing condition of the refrigeration system, no matter how slight the leakage occurs, it can be detected in time.
- Multiple units can be switched: LM100 can switch Hpa, mbar, Torr, inHg, ℃, ℉, K with a single click to meet a variety of testing needs.
- Auto Sleep Mode: When the user has no operation for more than 20 minutes, the device will automatically shut down to help users save energy consumption.
- 2.8-inch display: high-definition backlit display, which can be used in both dim and bright light environments, giving users a comfortable experience in different light environments. At the same time the screen 0.5s response, so that customers can be more intuitive, clear and fast to observe the data.
