1.Plans for the distribution of car fast charger and kilometres

Under the EU’s Alternative Fuel Infrastructure Regulation (AFIR), which comes into force on 13 April 2024, by 2025, Europe’s main motorways will have a fast-charging station every 60km. The plan aims to improve the ease of cross-border travel and ensure that EV drivers can easily find charging points.

• Fast charging stations with a minimum of 150 kW to be installed every 60 kilometres
