AUTOOL HTS558 walnut blaster features a 1200W motor that provides strong suction power, using physically harmless walnut shells for cleaning. It separates carbon deposits from the walnut shells through a filter, ensuring the shells are reusable. An external air compressor provides powerful sandblasting effects, effectively cleaning the intake manifold and valves, and helping the engine restore optimal performance.
✅What Is Walnut Sand?
Walnut sand is made from walnut shells, which are processed through strict screening and classification after being broken. It is a walnut extract and serves as a metal polishing medium. Walnut sand has high hardness, high-pressure resistance, and wear resistance, with a microporous surface. It provides strong adsorption and sewage interception ability, and it does not cause corrosion or pollution.
Using walnut sand as an abrasive will not damage the workpiece’s surface or harm the engine when cleaning carbon deposits. The cleaning effect is remarkable, and the cost is low.
✅What Is Carbon Deposition?
Some hydrocarbon olefin residues attach to the engine intake and cylinder when the fuel does not burn completely. It residues change into a hard black shell in high-temperature conditions, called carbon deposition.

How To Use the AUTOOL HTS558 Walnut Blaster?
- Step 1: Firstly, open the headcover of the AUTOOL HTS558 walnut blaster. Then, pour in the walnut powder (you will need 2-4KG). After that, press the dust guard onto the walnut powder to ensure it stays in place. Finally, close the cover securely.
- Step 2: Join the spray gun muzzle and recycle the hose together. (there is a hole in the recycle hose)
- Step 3: Remove the intake manifold of the engine. Next, plug the spray gun into the intake and turn the crankshaft to close the intake valve. Afterwards, connect the high-pressure air pump (not included) to the AUTOOL HTS558 walnut blaster. Finally, ensure all connections are secure before proceeding.
- Step 4: Connect AC power, and start clean. The process should last 1-3 minutes. (depending on carbon deposition circumstances)
- Step 5: Close AUTOOL HTS558, and check the cleaning result. Normally the walnut powder can be reused 5-10 times. (depending on carbon deposition circumstances)
