AUTOOL HTS558 Walnut Blaster Intake Pipe Valve Decarbon Cleaner
Walnut sand is made from walnut shells, which are processed through strict screening and classification after being broken. It is a walnut extract and serves as a metal polishing medium. Walnut sand has high hardness, high-pressure resistance, and wear resistance, with a microporous surface. It provides strong adsorption and sewage interception ability, and it does not cause corrosion or pollution.
Using walnut sand as an abrasive will not damage the workpiece’s surface or harm the engine when cleaning carbon deposits. The cleaning effect is remarkable, and the cost is low.
The walnut shell abrasive size should be between 0.6~1.2 mm. Under normal conditions, walnut shell abrasive can be reused 5~10 times.
Some hydrocarbon olefin residues attach to the engine intake and cylinder when the fuel does not burn completely. It residues change into a hard black shell in high-temperature conditions, called carbon deposition.
Carbon deposition will decrease the air-fuel ratio, cut down engine output power, increase fuel consumption, engine drastic shake on idle status all the thing will hurt the engine deeply. So normally we should clean carbon deposition after every 40000-50000 kilometer trip.
Air pressure up to 0.7mpa, 6bar or more air pressure.
We recommend using an air compressor equipped with a dryer filter to effectively prevent moisture buildup, which can cause walnut shell media to clump and result in poor blasting performance.
- AUTOOL HTS558 walnut blasting machine is a special machine for the engine Intake pipe and intake valve back side.
- Close the intake valve, then spray walnut powder into the engine intake via air pump(not included), meanwhile, AUTOOL HTS558 walnut blasting machine will recycle walnut powder by vacuum.
- This is a closed loop. The walnut powder will impact carbon deposition on the inner wall of the intake pipe. After thousands of impacts, carbon deposition will be clear thoroughly.
- A chemical cleaning agent will corrode the pipe and shorten the lifetime of the engine.
- Walnut powder is a pure natural polish material. It shows high performance in hardness, anti-pressure, and wear resistance.
- Walnut powder hardness was lower than metal but higher than carbon deposition. Take these advantages,
- AUTOOL HTS558 walnut blasting machine will clean the intake pipe and back side of the intake valve thoroughly but with no damage
- The high-precision engine system is sensitive to the foreign matter of the intake pipe, such as the BM-W Valvetronic system.
- That is why we need AUTOOL HTS558 to clean the carbon deposition in the intake pipe. The engine should be closed before cleaning, then turn the crankshaft to close the intake valve. AUTOOL HTS558 walnut blaster cleans one intake pipe each time, and the 6-cylinder engine should cleaned 6 times one by one(and so on).
- AUTOOL HTS558 walnut blaster is special for the intake pipe and intake valve back side clean only, if you want to clean carbon deposition on the injector/throttle valve/cylinder, please click here to shop for Injector Cleaners.
- The package does not include walnut sand and a high-pressure air pump.
- Walnut powder residual in the intake pipe will go to ashes at a high temperature after the engine starts.

The filter separates the walnut shell abrasive from the carbon deposits, ensuring that the walnut shell abrasive can be reused, while preventing residual particles from damaging the exhaust system at high temperatures.
- Integrated Design: The walnut shell abrasive is recycled within the equipment, and no manual recovery is required, saving time and effort.
- User-Friendly: Equipped with a swivel caster that can rotate 360°, making it easy to move and operate.
- 3-Year Warranty: For damage caused by non-human factors, we promise to resend parts for free within 3 years.
How To Use the AUTOOL HTS558 Walnut Blaster Machine?
- Step 1: Firstly, open the headcover of the AUTOOL HTS558 walnut blasting machine. Then, pour in the walnut powder (you will need 2-4KG). After that, press the dust guard onto the walnut powder to ensure it stays in place. Finally, close the cover securely.
- Step 2: Join the walnut blaster spray gun muzzle and recycle the hose together. (there is a hole in the recycle hose)
- Step 3: Remove the intake manifold of the engine. Next, plug the spray gun into the intake and turn the crankshaft to close the intake valve. Afterwards, connect the high-pressure air pump (not included in the package) to the AUTOOL HTS558 carbon cleaning walnut blaster machine. Finally, ensure all connections are secure before proceeding.
- Step 4: Connect AC power, and start clean. The process should last 1-3 minutes. (depending on carbon deposition circumstances)
- Step 5: Close AUTOOL HTS558 walnut blaster machine, and check the cleaning result. Normally the walnut powder can be reused 5-10 times. (depending on carbon deposition circumstances)

Walnut Blaster Tool FAQs:
A walnut shell sand blaster is a specialized tool used to clean the intake and valves of an automobile engine using crushed walnut shells, also known as walnut media, as the abrasive material. It is commonly used in automotive maintenance to remove carbon deposits that cause engine problems if left untreated.
The walnut blasting machine uses compressed air to shoot crushed walnut shells through a nozzle at high speed. The shells hit the surface of engine parts and remove carbon buildup. As they blast, the shells break into small pieces. This makes them a gentle and effective abrasive for cleaning delicate engine components.
Yes, walnut blasting is a safe and effective way to clean intake and valves on gasoline and diesel engines. Removing the valve cover is important to access the engine parts and clean them properly. However, it’s best to consult a professional before using the machine on your specific vehicle.
Walnut blasting is usually safe, but there are risks if it’s not done properly. Using the correct method helps fix engine problems like hard starts and improves engine performance.
The main risk is breathing in fine walnut shell dust. This can cause breathing problems if you don’t use safety gear. When using the machine, always wear a respirator and goggles to stay protected.
How often you should clean the intake and valves depends on factors like the vehicle’s age, mileage, and driving habits. Generally, it’s recommended to clean them every 30,000-50,000 miles or when you notice a drop in engine performance. However, it’s best to consult a professional mechanic for personalized recommendations based on your vehicle.

I am very pleasantly surprised the mega fast shipping 3 days the goods arrived well packed connected working works peanuts 2 packs free seller worthy of recommendation
I considered the dry ice cleaning machine. Since the dry ice cleaning machine is expensive, I finally chose the walnut sandblasting machine. The cleaning effect is very clean and it is very suitable for workshop use
Very good, I use a 24 liter compressor and it runs well. However, I believe that a larger capacity compressor would better serve the needs of a sandblaster.
